Terms and Conditions
Membership entitles you to borrow up to 4 items (3 toys and a bonus puzzle or game) for up to 1 month at a time with no additional fee on top of your Annual Membership Fee. This does not include party hire packages which do incur an additional fee.
Membership Responsibilities
When you become a member of our Toy Library you agree to the following:
- You will volunteer at least 2 times in the first 6 months of your membership. If you do not complete these sessions your account will be locked until you complete them or until you pay the Non-Volunteer Levy of $60. Note: For Non-Volunteer memberships this is not applicable.
- You will check all toys that you have borrowed within 24 hours and notify us if any pieces are missing or damaged.
- You will return all toys that you have borrowed CLEAN, and in same condition as you received them when they were borrowed. If not, you will pay the appropriate fee.
- You will return all toys that you have borrowed by the due date or you will pay the appropriate fee.
Other Fees and Charges
Charges apply for late, missing, damaged and dirty toys and individual pieces. These charges are to encourage members to care for our toys, to return toys promptly and in a clean and complete state, ready for other families to borrow.
*Toys that are damaged significantly or missing a significant piece will be charged at replacement cost.
Waiver, Release and Indemnity for Ride-Ons
Members are responsible for providing appropriate helmets for children using any toy from the Ride-On Category (A4), including but not limited to bikes, trikes, and scooters. All members must read the Waiver, Release and Indemnity for Bicycle and Scooters below, and sign the form as part of signing up to become a member, and before toys can be borrowed.
